About the role;
As our Receptionist, you will be the image of the company. You will be the first voice customers hear when they call us, and the first person they see when they walk into our branch, so a bubbly and approachable personality is essential. Confidence is also required, because your duties will also include returning customers calls to book viewings, valuations, and schedule other appointments. When the phone isn't ringing, you will be responsible for completing other general admin tasks to support our sales and lettings teams.

A typical day;
You arrive at the office, pop the kettle on, and take advantage of whatever fresh fruit or snacks we have stocked in the staff room. Energised and ready to go, you'll handle walk-in customer enquiries, general telephone and email enquiries, and other general admin tasks to support the sales and lettings teams.

Location: Maesteg & surrounding
Hours: 8 to 30 hours per week (8 hour contract)
Days & times: Flexible - to be agreed
Transport: Fleet van provided, but full UK driving licence essential
Experience: Basic property maintenance experience required

About the role;
As our In-House Handyman, you will be responsible for general repairs in our rental properties, erecting property boards, and conducting inspections. Experience in conducting basic household repairs is essential, and you must be confident working at heights (climbing a ladder to erect property boards).

Please note - a full UK driving licence is essential for this position. Any applications without a UK driving licence will be declined. Most jobs will be in Maesteg or surrounding areas, however some may be further afield therefore you should also be confident in driving on the motorway.
A typical day;
You arrive at the office, grabbing a piece of fruit from our staff kitchen, to ensure you are fit and strong to tackle the tasks of the day. Then you'll collect a job sheet from Louise, the Portfolio Manager. This will tell you where you're going, what materials you'll need, and how you'll gain access to each property. Typical maintenance tasks will include fitting & removing property boards, conducting inspections, repairing internal door handles, cutting back overgrown gardens, fitting CO alarms, installing trickle vents, replacing window handles, filling small holes, minor painting & decorating, using our deep carpet shampoo cleaning machine, and many other general repairs. Full training is provided, however experience in general maintenance is preferred.
